We walk through those choices with you once the groundwork is solid, not before, because a beautiful tile pattern doesn’t matter if the shower leaks into the subfloor.

A walk-in shower with more glass, more open space, and often more shower heads than a standard tub-shower combo puts more moisture into the bathroom air, which makes proper exhaust ventilation part of the design conversation, not an afterthought. We size and place the exhaust fan based on the shower’s footprint and the bathroom’s overall square footage, since an undersized fan leaves moisture sitting on tile and glass long after the water’s off.
Long-term care also factors into material choices. Frameless glass shows water spots faster than framed glass but is easier to squeegee and keep clear. Grout lines need periodic sealing to resist staining, while larger-format tile with fewer grout lines cuts down on that maintenance.
