Know Your System
Know What's Behind the Walls Before It Becomes a Problem
Most plumbing problems don’t start as emergencies. They start small: a slow drain, an aging pipe, a water heater a few years past its prime, and get worse quietly until something fails. Rugged Ridge Construction offers whole-home plumbing inspections across Northern Colorado so you know exactly what’s going on before it costs you.
What We Offer
Thorough Inspection. Honest Reporting.
We check your plumbing system top to bottom and tell you plainly what needs attention now and what can wait.
Our whole-home inspection covers:
- Full inspection of supply lines, drain lines, and venting
- Water heater condition and expected remaining lifespan
- Fixture-by-fixture check for leaks, pressure issues, and wear
- Shutoff valve testing, plus a walkthrough of where each one is
- Sump pump and basement plumbing check where applicable
- A clear rundown of what we found, sorted by priority
Each inspection gives you a clear, honest picture of where your plumbing stands, not a sales pitch dressed up as a report.
Our Advantage
A Clear Picture, Not a Sales Pitch
A Full System Check
We inspect supply lines, drains, venting, and fixtures as one connected system, not a spot check.
Conducted by a Master Plumber
The inspection is a real assessment from someone who’s spent years diagnosing these systems, not a checklist exercise.
Straightforward Reporting
We walk you through what we found, sorted by priority: what needs attention now versus what can wait.
The goal is knowing what you’re working with, before it becomes an emergency.
Our Commitment
Honesty Over Upselling
Rugged Ridge Construction has run on the same standard since 2022: quote it accurately, schedule it honestly, finish it properly. An inspection is where that shows up most. We’re not writing up a list of repairs to sell you a job. We’re telling you what we actually see.
If the inspection turns up something that needs immediate work, Wisetack financing is available to help cover it. We’ll explain the terms with you before anything’s decided.
Rugged Ridge Construction is a registered Colorado plumbing contractor (Reg. No. 5335). Plumbing work is led by Brad Loper, Colorado master plumber license no. 3001338.

The Best Time to Find a Problem Is Before It's an Emergency
Finding a problem early costs far less than an undetected leak or a failed water heater does in damage and emergency repair. If you’re planning a remodel, buying a home, or coming off years without a plumbing check, this is the place to start.
How We Sort What We Find
You get more than a pass or fail. We break what we find into three tiers: what needs attention now (an active leak, a failing shutoff valve), what’s worth planning for in the near term (an aging water heater, corroding galvanized pipe), and what’s simply worth watching (a fixture nearing the end of its life but not yet a problem). That structure makes it easy to budget for repairs over time instead of facing one overwhelming list.
Why This Matters Most Before a Remodel
If you’re planning a kitchen, bathroom, or basement project, an inspection tells us what we’re building on top of before we start. Finding a section of galvanized pipe or an undersized drain line after walls are already open costs time and money that a pre-project inspection avoids entirely. For any remodel we take on, we’d rather know what’s behind the walls in week one than find out in week four.
A Second Opinion, Without the Pressure
Because an inspection isn’t tied to selling you a specific repair, it tends to be more honest than an estimate that comes attached to a quote for work. We’re looking at the whole system and telling you what we see, not building a list to justify a job.
